With the nominations now announced for this year’s Game Awards taking place on December 7th, Here are my predictions on who I think will win in some of the bigger categories.
Since this is a Spider-Man News page I’m going to “try” not to be biased.
Game Of The Year
FUCK NOT BEING BIASED, SPIDER-MAN 2 SWEEP BITCHES, WE ARE TAKING ALL THE AWARDS.
Jokes aside, it’s between Alan Wake 2, Baldur’s Gate 3, The Legend of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom and Spider-Man 2.
I would love Spider-Man 2 to win this as I think it deserves every award, but going by how the Joystick Awards went down, I think Baldur’s Gate 3 will win.
Best Performance
I think Yuri will win it, I know it looks like I’m being biased but I’m not, I do think Yuri deserves this.
Best Action/Adventure Game
Same with Game Of The Year, it’s between Alan Wake 2, Spider-man 2 and The Legend of Zelda:Tears Of The Kingdom.
I think Spider-Man 2 will come out on top and win this one, and again that’s me trying not to be biased.
Best Score And Music
Spider-Man 2 (even though it’s not nominated for this one).
Nah but I do think The Legend of Zelda:Tears Of The Kingdom has this one in the bag.
Best Adaptation
Although I think the Last Of Us should win this one, I know the Mario fans will spam vote for the film so the Mario movie is winning this award whether the critics like it or not.
Best Game Direction
Unfortunately, Baldur’s Gate 3 is in this category so it’s winning it.
Most Anticipated Game
I feel like Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will win this one.
Best Narrative
Although Baldur’s Gate 3 is in this category I feel like Spider-Man 2 might get this one.
