Since the film is currently in the writing stage, nearly everything in this article is a rumour and since it’s currently in the writing stage things could change,and Just like the Venom 3 article, I will list all the sources.

Confirmed in 2022 by traded,Tom Holland (Obviously) and K.C. Undercover star Zendaya are set to return for Spider-man 4.
Whether Jacob Batalon is returning as Ned is currently unknown.
Filming Is Planned To Start Later This Year (Via The InSneider)
Filming for Spider-Man 4 is currently scheduled to take place in September or October.
Sony And Kevin Feige Are Fighting Over Release Dates (Via Daniel RPK)
According to Daniel Rpk, Sony wants Spider-Man 4 to be released in 2025, but Kevin Feige wants to release it in 2026 due to 2025 being a stacked year for films, plus he wants to connect the film to Avengers 5.
Jon Watts Might Get Replaced (Via Daniel Rpk)
Although Trades reported in 2022 that Jon Watts was set to return with Tom Holland and Zendaya for Spider-Man 4, that no longer seems to be the case as reliable Leaker Daniel RPK says that although Sony wanted Jon Watts back, Kevin Feige has managed to convince Sony to look for a new director.
Drew Goddard And Justin Lin Are Being Considered To Direct Spider-man 4 (Via Daniel RPK & The InSneider)
So two rumours from different sources
According to Daniel Rpk, Drew Goddard is one of the people currently in the running to direct Spider-Man 4.
He was an executive producer and writer for the Daredevil and Defenders series; he was also a director for the films The Cabin in the Woods and Bad Times at the El Royale.
The other rumour is from The InSneider, which is that Justin Lin is also in the running for being director of Spider-Man 4.
Justin Lin is best known for directing the Fast and Furious films.
Spider-man 4 Will Have Multiverse Elements And Street Level Elements (Via Alex from Cosmic Circus )
As stated by Daniel RPK, Sony and Kevin Feige were fighting over a few things. One of these things was the story element. Sony wanted Spider-Man 4 to be a multiverse story and to bring Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield back, while Kevin Feige and Tom Holland wanted Spider-Man 4 to be a street-level story.
Well, according to Alex, who is a writer and insider for the news page “My Cosmic Circus,” Sony and Kevin Feige are currently negotiating a middle ground so Spider-Man 4 can have both elements.

Ant-man, Vulture, Kingpin, Daredevil, Kate Bishop, Echo and Jessica Jones Are Rumoured To Be In Spider-Man 4 (Via Daniel RPK, My cosmic Circus and Cryptic4KQual)
Before I start, these rumours are old, so things may have changed since then.
So Ant-Man, Vulture, and Daredevil were reported to be returning by Daniel RPK.

Kingpin Mayoral Story Will Be Part Of The Spider-man 4 Story (My Cosmic Circus)
In the comics, Kingpin runs and becomes mayor of New York City for a bit.
Well, if you have seen Echo, you will know that Marvel has started to incorporate that story into Phase 5 of the MCU.
And according to My Cosmic Circus, the story might continue in Spider-Man 4.
With Kingpin trying to crackdown on vigilantes, he will send a team of contractors to deal with the vigilante crisis, with one of their targets being Spider-Man.

According to MyTimeToShineHello, Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers wrote up a draft for Spider-Man 4 before the writers strikes happened last year.
Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers have written all the MCU Spider-Man films that have been released so far.
Peter Becomes Consumed With His Role As Spider-man (Via My Cosmic Circus)
During a Q&A on The My Cosmic Circus Discord with writer/insider Alex Perez, someone asked what the character of Peter would look like moving forward. Alex replied, saying, “The idea now moving forward is to give him a sense of independence. In his mind, Peter Parker is no more… but Spider-Man lives on. Since he has either lost or detached himself from everyone he’s ever loved, all he has to keep him going is being Spider-Man, whether the city loves him for it or not. And as the title of Spider-Man continues to consume Peter’s life little by little, Peter Parker will take a back seat and continue to fade from existence slowly. This story point can be compared to Robert Pattinson’s Batman in The Batman”.
