Welcome to the third issue of LAST WEEK IN SPIDER-MAN NEWS.
In this edition, we will be talking about your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, Venom The Last Dance, Kraven the Hunter, and more, but unfortunately we do have some sad news to talk about first.
All the news featured in this edition happened between October 28th, 2024 – November 3rd, 2024.
ALAN RACHINS
Alan Rachins, who voiced Norman Osborn in the spectacular Spider-Man series, sadly passed away on November 2nd.
May he rest in peace.
YOUR FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD SPIDER-MAN
Not only did we get the first official footage from the show, which you can see above, but we finally have a release date for the series, which is January 29th, 2025.
VENOM THE LAST DANCE
Venom The Last Dance passed $310M at the worldwide box office last week.
AGENT VENOM
According to Daniel RPK, an Agent Venom film is currently in the works at Sony.
Without going into spoilers, if you watched Venom The Last Dance, then this makes sense.
KRAVEN THE HUNTER
Not only did we get a new look at Kraven The Hunter as seen above, but it was also revealed by leaker Cryptic4KQual on Twitter that tickets for the film will go on sale November 29th.
WHAT IF…… SEASON 3
It was announced that What If…. season 3 will be releasing episodes daily from December 22nd.
Not only is this the final season, but Spider-Man is rumoured to appear in a few episodes this season.
RANDOM THINGS
Here is a quick rundown of things I didn’t believe deserved their own section.
SPIDER-MAN NO WAY HOME
Spider-Man No Way Home passed $1.95 billion at the worldwide box office due to the film being re-released this year.
MADAME WEB
It was revealed by The Hollywood Reporter this week that Sydney Sweeney was paid $750K for her role in Madame Web.
It was also revealed she only took the role to try and convince Sony to greenlight the film “ANYONE BUT YOU,” which ended up making $120M more than Madame Web did.
ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE
As seen above, a new Across The Spider-Verse the Spot Marvel Legends figure was revealed.
NICHOLAS HAMMOND SPIDER-MAN FUNKO
As seen above, a new Nicholas Hammond Spider-Man Funko was revealed.
