2026 is currently looking like it will be a big year for Spider-Man content, so I decided to rank my hype level out of 10 for each project. Enjoy.
SPIDER-NOIR

Rumoured to release early 2026
“I call this one Spider-Noir, rhymes with Grug”
The official synopsis for the show is “Nicolas Cage plays Spider-Noir, an ageing and down-on-his-luck private investigator in 1930s New York is forced to grapple with his past life as the city’s one and only superhero.”
Other than that, officially we don’t know anything else other than this isn’t Peter, with rumours claiming that this will be Ben Reilly wearing the mask, which, if you aren’t familiar with Ben Reilly, in the comics he’s Peter’s clone.
Now, a teaser trailer for this was revealed at an event Amazon was at, but unfortunately I can’t show you anything, as Amazon is striking anyone showing it, but I love what I saw, and what’s even cooler is that when this releases, you’ll have a choice to watch it in black and white or colour.
Hype: 9/10
SPIDEY AND HIS AMAZING FRIENDS SEASON 5

Season 5 releasing summer 2026
This show is for preschoolers, and with me being a 27-year-old man, I did not enjoy this when I tried to watch it, but just because I don’t care about this series doesn’t mean it’s wrong for you or anyone of any age to enjoy this.
Hype rating: 0/10 (again this is my personal opinion, don’t let that stop you from watching it)
SPIDER-MAN BRAND NEW DAY

Releasing July 31st 2026
Do you remember the No Way Home era, where we got leaks and rumours every day while hype was at an all-time high? Well, so far the brand-new-day era has been like that, but unlike the No Way Home era, where they couldn’t film in public due to covid, they’ve been filming in Scotland and London publicly, and photos have been hitting Twitter like crack for weeks, so yeah, out of all the projects on this list, this is the one I’m most excited for..
Plus, Spider-Man: Brand New Day might be the last film I cover if I do go through with my plans for retiring the Spider-Man page after it releases.
Hype rating:10/10
YOUR FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD SPIDER-MAN SEASON 2

Season 2 releasing Fall 2026
A sort of “Spider-Man MCU What If…”, the series released earlier this year, and I really enjoyed the direction it took with Peter and its supporting characters, and with the ending to season 1 setting up a lot of things like the Symbiote, Doc Ock, Peter’s dad and more, season 2 is currently looking like it’s going to be one hell of a season, and I fully trust Jeff Trammell to cook with Gwen for the season.
Hype rating: 9/10
Avengers Doomsday??????

Releasing December 18th
I’m going to be honest, I’m biased as fuck. If Spider-Man appears in this (it doesn’t matter which one), like it’s currently rumoured, my hype rating is 10; if he isn’t, then it’s a 6. Like, it’s cool we’re getting the OG X-Men and shit, but it does currently feel like they are just throwing shit at the wall and hoping it sticks with this film.
Hype rating: 10 with Spider-man, 6 without
Let me know in the comments which Spider-Man-related project you’re excited for.
